Cycling Community

We love to cycle

With its accessible pathways and dedicated Cycling Hub, MediaCityUK welcomes cyclists with open arms. The heart of the biking community can be found in around the Cycling Hub in between ITV, The University of Salford and The Greenhouse. 

Nutri Bar

Situated adjacent to the Cycle Hub, Nutri Bar is MediaCityUK’s newest healthy eating concept. Located on The Splat in front of The Greenhouse at the heart of MediaCityUK, Nutri Bar serves healthy, nutritious breakfasts as well as custom-made lunches, which customers can build with a choice of bases, proteins, toppings and dressings. Open Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 3pm.

Cherish your bike

If your bike is in need of some TLC then revolveMCR are on hand to take care of all your mechanical needs from puncture repairs to major maintenance and servicing. 

Based next to the Cycle Hub every Tuesday, their Cytech qualified mechanics operate a pop-up workshop on site and offer a basic service for £39. see their website www.revolvemcr.com for more details. Booking in advance is strongly recommended - call 07939 062 600 or email hello@revolvemcr.com.

Learn to fix it

If you’re a regular cyclist or thinking of starting out then it’s worth arming yourself with the skills and knowledge to keep your bike in safe, working order.

TfGM run practical, two hour starter and intermediate cycle maintenance courses that are FREE for people aged 16 or over.

Courses are arranged in small, friendly groups at venues across Greater Manchester and the tutors are fully qualified.

I am proficient  

Whether you’re a novice, recreational or urban cyclist and want to improve your cycling knowledge and skills TfGM offers a range of FREE cycling courses run by National Standard qualified instructors.

Held in accessible local venues across Greater Manchester you will be trained with people of a similar ability. Bikes and helmets are provided but you can always take your own if you prefer.
