There a series of essential works taking place which are expected to impact all road users. If you are planning on driving in or around Manchester, remember to plan ahead and check out our travel advice page.
Saturday 10 March: Manchester United vs Liverpool (12:30pm) and Tuesday 13 March: Manchester United vs Sevilla (7.45pm)
First, Manchester United host Liverpool this Saturday, 10 March in the Premier League (kick-off 12.30pm), before hosting Sevilla in the Champions League on next Tuesday, 13 March (kick-off 7.45pm). With around 75,000 fans expected to attend, roads and public transport are expected to be much busier than usual. Sunday 11 March: Manchester Irish Parade (10am onwards)
Manchester hosts its annual Irish Festival Parade this Sunday. Roads and public transport, along the parade route, in the city centre are expected to be busier than usual.
