Metrolink TPL Work Update - Mosley Rd/Parkway

Dear Recipient,

I would like to provide you with an update on Metrolink work in Trafford Park. Works planned are as follows:

·         Mosley Road: The current temporary one way working on Mosley Road north of Village Way will be reversed. This will prevent vehicles from entering Mosley Road from Village Way but it will enable them to exit Mosley Road onto Village Way to travel eastbound. This switchover is required to enable the statutory utility diversion works across the mouth of Mosley Road to be completed and will take place on Monday 6th November 2017. It will remain in force for approx. 6 weeks. The alternative route for northbound traffic requiring access to Mosley Road (north of Village Way) will be via Village Way (eastbound), Village Circle, Trafford Park Road and Mosley Road.

·         Parkway: the southbound off-slip to Barton Dock from the southbound carriageway of Parkway will be closed on the 10th, 11th and 12th November between 8pm and 6am. This is to facilitate statutory undertaker diversion works in connection with the Metrolink extension works. The alternative route for traffic will be via Parkway southbound carriageway, Lostock Circle, Parkway northbound carriageway, Parkway northbound carriageway off-slip and Barton Dock Road.

Please note that there will be signposted diversion routes in place for each of the above works and access to businesses will be maintained.
